China’s MBT, Main influences are the Russian T-80 and German Leopard2 on paper it looks like a pretty solid tank but little is known of its combat effectiveness, though its speed figures seem a bit trumped up,
Many of the tanks listed could achieve this speed but choose to govern the speed to increase track lifespan & overall reliability.

The FV4034 Challenger 2 is one of the slowest modern MBT’s but it can take a absolute beating, and is very reliable! (who wants to break down in a war zone?) it has some of the best armour on any tank and has NEVER been destroyed by enemy fire!
It’s reported one Challenger 2 near Basra in southern Iraq survived being hit by 70 RPG’s!!!! Yes that’s not a typo.. SEVENTY.. SEVEN ZERO!! Currently Challenger 2 holds the world record for for longest tank-to-tank kill!!!

The Challenger 2 is only in service with the armies of the United Kingdom and Oman.

Leopard 2

Country of origin: Germany
Main Armament: 120mm Rheinmetall L55 smooth bore gun

The M1 Abrams entered service in 1980, replacing the aging M60 tank, The Abrams remained untested in combat until the Persian Gulf War 1991 The M1A1 was capable of making kills at ranges in excess of 2,500 meters. the effective range of the Soviet made Iraqi tanks was less than 2,000 meters. This meant Abrams tanks could hit Iraqi tanks before the enemy got in range, a decisive advantage in this kind of combat.

The M1 is the principal main battle tank of the United States Army, Marine Corps, and the armies of Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Australia and Iraq.
