The King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center, KASOTC, is located in Amman, Jordan and is owned and operated by the Jordanian government. The Center is a one-of-a-kind facility that provides reality-based training for special operation forces, counter-terrorism units, and law enforcement agencies.

 

KASOTC’s facility is renowned globally for offering cutting-edge training delivered by a cadre of elite instructors and experienced professionals. The Center was designed in response to emerging threats and a currently unpredictable international security environment. The 25 square kilometer site is availed of over 200 million USD worth of advanced integrated technology systems and support structures that meet U.S technical and safety standards. KASOTC users are able to practice mission-essential tasks and have their commanders assess their mission readiness and, if needed, develop targeted training to address any identified shortcomings.

 

The onsite fiber optic network serves as the nerve center, and connects the Range Operations Control, ROC, to hundreds of cameras, microphones, target systems, battlefield effects, and simulators. KASOTC also provides onsite lodging, dining, weapons/equipment rental, and various other support facilities to successfully meet the special operation training needs of the Jordanian Armed Forces, other Jordanian governmental law enforcement agencies and coalition allies.

 

The Center offers all-inclusive training packages and stand-alone support solutions. Stand-alone solutions include: leasing specific training venues, training program support, equipment rental, and scenario development.
