이스라엘 IAI, 체코 Retia와 '아이언돔(Iron Dome)' 레이다 합작생산 계약.

'이스라엘 항공우주 산업(IAI:Islaeli Aerospace Industries)이 레이다, 지휘통제통신, 컴퓨터, 감시정보정찰(C4ISR) 체계를 생산하는 '레티아(Retia a.s)'와 아이언돔(Iron Dome)을 합작생산하는 계약을 체결했다고
IHS Jane이 2015년 10월 22일(현지시간) 보도했다.
보도에 따르면, 이 계약은 '아이언돔(Iron Dome)'에 사용되는 탐지레이다와 사격통제레이다를 생산하는 계약이며, 체코정부의 추가발표에 따르면, 체코는 IAI로부터 '아이언돔(Iron Dome)' 시스템을 구매할 의향이 있다고 한다.
체코와 합작하여 생산할 레이다는 ELM-2084 MMR 다기능임무레이다이다.
ELM-2084 MMR은 3차원 '능동전자주사배열(AESA:Active Electronically Scanned Array, 能動電子走査配列) 레이다로 SPYDER-MR의 탐지체계이다.
주파수는 S-band를 사용한다.
최대탐지거리 250km로 1,100개의 항공표적을 동시에 처리할 수 있으며 고정식으로 운영할 경우 방위각 기준으로 120°를 커버한다.
SPYDER-MR 시스템, Iron Dome 시스템,David's Sling 시스템에서도 운용이 가능하다.
이 레이다는 우선 체코군에 공급될 예정이고 최종적으로는 '아이언돔(Iron Dome)' 시스템의 미사일요격체계로 제공될 예정이다.
IAI의 수석부사장이면서 IAI의 계열사로 레이다전문 업체인 Elta System의 사장인 '니씸 하다스(Nissim Hadas)'는 "Retia는 사격지휘통제와 이에 수반되는 지원 등의 레이다 인터페이스(interface)의 중요 부품 생산을 포함한 프로그램 전반에 참여할 예정이다"라고 밝혔다.

Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI) has entered into a co-operation agreement with Czech radar and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) provider Retia, it was announced on 22 October.
The deal is focused on the production of IAI's Iron Dome detection and fire-control radar and follows reports of the Czech Republic's interest in procuring the system.
The two companies agreed to jointly offer IAI's ELM-2084 MMR multimission radar, aiming to provide it to the Czech armed forces, with the possibility of eventually also offering the missile interceptor component of the Iron Dome system.
IAI's executive vice president and president of the company's radar specialist Elta Systems Nissim Hadas said, "Retia will be involved in all phases of the programme, including the production of key components of a radar interface for command-and-control and follow-up support."
